March Favourites

Hello Lovelies!

A very Happy Easter to you all! I hope you all are having an amazing long weekend! I'm spending mine just chilling out and eating lots of chocolate! I can't believe it's nearly April already! Where is this year going? Anyway it's monthly favourites time again so on with my March favourites!

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish
Liz Earle is more of a permanent love affair in my life, anything I've tried from her range I've absolutely loved and her Cleanse & Polish is no exception! Last month I finished another tube of it but I didn't bother repurchasing it straight away...big mistake! My skin went absolutely insane, I had breakouts left right & centre! It was not a pretty sight let me tell you! But since I've started using it again my skin has completely settled down and it is behaving itself again. I have definitely learned my lesson and will not be straying again! It's such a nice treatment for evening-time and it literally removes every scrap of make-up!

Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette
I bought this just after Christmas and it has been permanently in my make-up bag ever since! I've used it to create so many looks over the past few weeks and since work has been slightly hectic the past couple of weeks it has been a life saver! It's perfect for a nice neutral everyday look and it is compact enough to carry around during the day if I want to top-up or change my look to a more evening look by using the darker colours. It has also got a good big mirror which is perfect for on the go touch ups!

Cocoa Brown Tan
I could not tell you how long I have been on the hunt for this tan, every-time I went to buy it, it was always sold out! I finally got my hands on it on one of my recent shopping trips. The poor sales assistant must have thought I was such a weirdo because I got so excited! It has fast become my favourite tan! You only have to leave it on for an hour, wash away the excess and it continues to develop after that. It leaves a gorgeous natural colour which you can build up if you want! For €7.99 it's the best value tan I've ever tried! Amazing!

Max-Factor Midnight Bronze
I've only discovered this nail polish in the past week or so but it was love at first sight! I am obsessed with Rose Gold as most of you know and I have been on the hunt for a perfect Rose Gold nail-polish for months now! Then I found this little bottle of happiness in my local Boots! It is exactly what I was looking for! It goes on really opaque, doesn't streak and lasts so long without chipping!

L'oreal Glam Shine Stain Splash - Romy
Yet another new purchase this month were the L'oreal Glam Shine Stains. I've already done a review on these here. I've found myself reaching for Romy on a more regular basis compared to Juliet. I love the colour, the longevity and to be completely shallow I adore the packaging! I definitely want to pick up more of these! There is a nude one I definitely want to try out!

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation
The new love of my foundation life! I picked this up in February and have been pretty much reaching for it all this month! I find it gives medium but very build-able coverage. I absolutely love the finish it leaves, it is such a gorgeous dewy natural finish and no matter how much you put on it doesn't look heavy or cakey! It also smells so good! I think they've recently repackaged this, I hope they haven't changed the formula! I also recently picked up the Healthy Mix Serum so I hope I like it as much as this one!

River Island Paris Perfume
One of my most random purchases this month has been this perfume. While I was out shopping for my birthday this month I went into River Island for a look. I had never known that they did perfumes and randomly had a sniff. I completely fell in love with this one. I ended up putting it back and went about my day but ended up running back to River Island at the last minute to grab one! I am terrible at describing scents but I definitely describe this as my "grown up" perfume. I have worn it constantly since I bought it. I bought mine in a set which contained a 30ml bottle, a 15ml travel size and a bubble bath all for €20! Bargain!

That is all my products that I have been loving for the month of March. I still can not believe that it's almost April already! Craziness!

Updated Skin Care Routine

Hello Lovelies!

I'm sure you're all aware at this stage, if you have read my blog for any length of time how much I love my skin care! I think skin care is unbelievably important and I would much rather invest in good skincare items than I would make up. I feel that if your skin looks good your make up looks so much better and sometimes you don't need to use as much make up. It's best to get the basics down before adding any layers me thinks! I have done a skin care routine before but I wanted to update it since I have discovered new products and  been loving lots of new things!

The first thing I like to do is take the majority of my make-up off using my Bioderma Crealine H2O make up remover. I find this to be the best thing to take off my eye make-up (including waterproof mascara!) and the majority of my make-up. I usually put abit on a cotton pad take off my eye make-up and use whatever is left after that to remove some of the rest of it. Following that I use my beloved Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish to cleanse my skin. I either use this with my No.7 Cleansing Brush or a muslin cloth to remove it after. I don't see myself ever straying from Liz Earle, she has done no wrong yet! Next is my favourite part of my skin care routine...toning! I must have a hundred different toners at this stage but I always gravitate back towards my Nivea Refreshing Toner. It leaves my skin feeling lovely and cool and refreshed (surprisingly enough) again I apply this using a cotton pad all over my face and then give it a few minutes to sink in.

Depending on whether it's day-time or night-time I have two different moisturisers. For during the day I have my faithful Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser. I think it's such a gorgeous light-weight moisturiser but still gives me the hydration I need throughout the day! It smells gorgeous too! For night-time I switch over to my Lancome Hydra Zen moisturiser. This is one of the thickest, most luxurious moisturisers I've ever used. I actually got it off my mum because she didn't like it. I love it for night-time use for a deep moisturisation.  My skin tends to get fairly dry and I find that this keeps dry patches at bay! I then apply one of the most recent additions to my skincare routine, my Boots own brand Eye Gel. Simple, cheap but does the job! I have been again suffering with dryness under my eyes and I found that this really hydrates that area. I've also found that it has helped with my under eye bags, it really has reduced the puffiness! Then the final step of my skin-care routine is applying my La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo. This has fast become Holy Grail material in my book! I have used it religiously every day since I got it. It really does help combat breakouts and it overall has improved the texture of my skin! I honestly would be lost without this!

Two other add-on's to my skincare are my new favourite face-mask and my beloved exfoliator! The Mask of Magnaminty is the first Lush face-mask I have ever tried and I adore it! It's so gorgeous and cooling on the skin and helps to clear up any breakouts I may have at the time! I aim to use this once a week. For my exfoliator I use St Ives. The classic St Ives, I'm sure most of you (if not all of you) have heard of/used this at some stage throughout your life! It's such a good exfoliator words can't even describe! I also tend to use this once a week!

Let me know what your holy grail skin care products are, I think skin care is my favourite thing to research and to try out (although once I find something that works for me I tend to stick to it) Let me know if you would like to see an in-depth review of any of these products, the ones I have already done I have linked in this post!

"Drug Store" Haul

Hello Lovelies!

I hope you're all having a good week! I can't believe it's only Tuesday but roll on the Bank Holiday weekend! I can't wait for this evening, I'm heading over to my boyfriends after work and going to eat lots and watch Geordie Shore!

If you follow me on twitter or have seen my blog posts from last week you'll know that I've been shopping the past two weekends...oops! So to justify these purchases I've decided to do a haul post! Gives me a decent enough reason to have bought this unnatural amount of products! Lots of new goodies to test out and review and a few some old faithfuls that I needed to repurchase!

Rimmel Fix & Protect Primer
One of the first items that I needed to repurchase was my faithful Rimmel Primer. I'm a big fan of this primer and have been using it for quite a while now! I recently tried out the Laura Mercier foundation primer which I do love too but it's just so expensive I don't want to use it everyday because I will run out of it really quickly. So the Rimmel will be my everyday primer!

Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum

A foundation that I have seen raved about so much in the blogging world. I recently picked up the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation and have fallen in love! I had never tried Bourjois foundations before that but it has set a very high standard for any to follow! Somebody told me before that Bourjois are the same people who make Chanel make-up, I'm not 100% sure how true that is but the quality of the foundations are amazing for "drug-store" They are pricier than your average drug store foundation but in my opinion completely worth it!

Batiste Medium Brunette Dry Shampoo
Another repurchase for me, can't be without a can of dry shampoo! I love Batiste, I have ventured out into other dry shampoos but always seem to fall back on Batiste without fail. It does the job, plain and simple. You really can't go wrong with Batiste, they come in different colours (blonde, light brunette, dark brunette etc) and different scents which are really nice too!

Seche Vite Top Coat
This is a product that I have been lusting after for ages! But I could never justify the price of it, but since it was my birthday last week I thought why not? My boyfriend backed me up on this (granted this was after nearly an hour of being dragged around Boots so he probably just wanted to get out and would agree to anything!) so I took the plunge! Since getting it I have heard some scary stories about it's ingredients and the effects it has so I'm a bit reluctant to use it!

Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Polishes
I am such a big fan of the Barry M Gelly polishes so when I seen that they had released some new colours I knew that I was in trouble! I ended up picking up the colours Lychee and Grapefruit. A gorgeous nude which is apparently a dupe for Chanel's Frenzy (again I'm not sure how true this is but I do love a good dupe!) and a gorgeous light berry pink. The quality of these nail polishes is just phenomonal and I really hope they continue to expand the line!

MaxFactor Midnight Bronze
I FOUND A ROSE GOLD NAIL POLISH!! Sorry about that but yes I am extremely excited about this nail polish! I have been on the hunt for a decent rose gold nail polish for ages so you can imagine my reaction when I found this in my local Boots last Thursday! I have it on my nails now and I think I have found the nail polish for me. This is it! I'm committed!

L'oreal Confetti Topcoat
Again I had been on the hunt for this for fricking ages and would get a tiny bit sad inside whenever someone would feature this on their blog, because I adore the effect of it but couldn't find it anywhere near where I lived! So when we went shopping last weekend this was one of the things on the top of my list (yes I made a list, don't judge!) and was over the moon to finally get one! I am currently wearing it on my toes over Essence Free Hugs and I love it!

Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation
This was the next thing on the top of my list! Ever since I seen Essiebutton rave about it I knew I needed it in my life! I've been using it everyday since I got it and I absolutely love it! If your a full coverage kind of girl this is definitely not the foundation for you! It's such a gorgeous lightweight foundation but gives you a gorgeous glow! I was abit worried because the lightest shade I could get it in was 130 Shell but when I'm wearing tan it looks fine!

Soap & Glory Hand Maid
Something again I had wanted to try out for awhile but never got around to picking up is Hand Maid! I am such a sanatizer addict, I hate the thought of having dirty hands so I tend to have a good sanitize every so often if I'm not near a sink to wash my hands! It smells lovely, no hint of that usual horrible sanitizer smell that is in nearly every other hand sanitizer out there! Definitely a firm staple in my handbag lately!

Nivia Lip Butter Caramel Cream
I kind of picked this up on a whim, I seen them in my local Boots but it was only the raspberry and original flavour there. But when I smelt this I went a little weak at the knees! It smells good enough to eat and I instantly threw it into my shopping basket! When I got home I was pleseantly surprised to discover that it is actually a really lovely lip balm! Bonus!

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
Surprise surprise, this is another one of my essential repurchases! I think I will be repurchasing this until I'm old and wrinkly or until they stop making it, whichever comes first! Also has Collection finally changed the packaging? So far none of the writing has wore off and I've even tried to rub some of it off and it didn't budge! This is a momentous moment if they have finally changed it!

Rimmel ScandalEyes Eyeliner
I already have the nude version of this eyeliner and I am a massive fan of it! The quality is amazing, and it lasts forever on my water line so I thought it would be worth investing in some more since I adore the quality of that one. I picked up the Black version and the Taupe version. Both amazingly pigmented, longlasting and so smooth! I really hate when an eyeliner pulls on your eye or scratches it, there'll be none of that happening thanks to these beauties!

Original Tangle Teaser
Yes I gave into the hype, I had avoided it for so long it was bound to happen! This was another Seche Vite situation, I had wanted to try it for so long but couldn't justify the price and then went abit crazy last week and threw it into my basket. I don't know how it works but it is amazing! It detangles my hair like no other and it is literally a god send!

L'oreal GlamShine Stain Splash
Another product that I was majorly excited to get my hands on was the new YSL Glossy Stain dupes! I had been waiting for these to be released for ages! I've already done a blog post all about these beauties here if you want to go and have a look!

So there you have it, my massive drug store haul! I'm sorry it was so long, and a big well done if you made it to the end! It's safe to say I will not be buying any more make up for awhile but at least I've justified all these purchases by writing about them! Lots of reviews to come, Yay!

A Week In Lip Products

Hello Lovelies!

As you all may know I'm a lip-product junkie. Now granted I may not wear a bright lip all that often but I feel really strange when I'm not wearing anything on my lips. With this in mind and also the fact that I haven't cleared out my handbag in a while, I thought I would show you the lip products that have accumulated in my handbag this past week.

MAC Girl About Town
This has been in my handbag since I wore it shopping last Saturday. It is my new favourite MAC lipstick. It is an amplified finish so the pigmentation you get from it is amazing! It is also slightly moisturising on the lips so it doesn't completely dry my lips out. I love the colour of this, it is a blue under-toned fuschia, I think it would look good on all skin tones and it's the perfect statement lip.

L'oreal GlamShine Stain Splash
I've recently reviewed these here. I found that Romy was the more wearable of the two that I purchased. It has become a permanent fixture in the bottom of my handbag since I've got it. I normally am not the biggest fan of lipgloss but I find these to last ages on the lips and I'm really loving it lately!

Revlon Lip Butter Creme Brule
My favourite everyday lip product at the moment is my Lip Butter in Creme Brule. I'm such a big fan of the lip butters and this is my most used. It is a gorgeous nude, perfect for whacking on through out the day. Such an easy colour to wear and a gorgeous formula that  keeps my lips feeling hydrated throughout the day too!

Rimmel Apocolips Celestial
I don't know why I had so many pinks in my handbag this week. I'm sensing a colour theme happening here! I am a massive fan of the Apocolips and my favourite out of the ones that I have is Celestial  It is a kind of a muted rosy pink. So easy to wear as an everyday shade. You do have to be careful when applying the Apocolips because they can tend to get a little messy!

Carmex
So surprise here. I couldn't leave the house without Carmex. My lips have been getting so unbelievably dry so I'm constantly applying this to my lips. I love Carmex. I think it is one of the classics of the lip product world and everyone possibly has a tub or tube of this! I recently repurchased it in tube form, I think it's slightly more hygienic than sticking your finger in the tub every time!

Korres Lip Butter Wild Rose
I don't really know why I have two lip balms in my bag either but you can never have too many lip balms,..right? I am such a big fan of the Korres Lip Butters and I currently have my eye on the Mango one! I love the flavour, the colour and the way it makes my lips feel! It does make me feel slightly posh when I pull it out of my handbag because it is one of the nicer lip products that I own.

Slightly excessive amount of lip products I have pulled out of my handbag me thinks! But I truly believe there is no such thing as too many lip products! Please agree with me otherwise I'm in trouble haha!

L'Oreal GlamShine Stain Splash

Hello Lovelies!

Last weekend myself and my boyfriend went shopping, and I spent far too long in Boots! My justification for this was because the Boots in the town we went to was so much bigger than my local one!

One of the products I was most excited to get my hands on was the infamous YSL Glossy Stain dupes by L'oreal! The L'oreal Glam Shine Stain Splash lip stains (what a mouthful) I had been lusting after the actual Glossy Stains for months but I could never justify the price tag, so when I heard that L'oreal were coming out with something similar I waited with baited breath!

I was slightly disappointed in the colour range when I eventually seen them so the two I bought were what I thought were the most wearable out of the range. I picked out 102- Romy and 300- Juliet. Firstly can we take a moment to admire the gorgeousness of the packaging! I think it's so gorgeous and elegant! For the price-tag I think it's amazing quality and definitely does not look like something from the drug store.

On first application I was slightly disappointed with them, I found them to be really sheer and sticky. But when I worked abit more with them I have fallen in love. It does take a few coats to achieve opacity but once you get the look you want it's extremely long lasting. The stickiness still annoys me but for the look it gives I can deal with it! When you first put them on your lips they give quite a cooling sensation to the lips. They also have a fake fruity scent which I don't mind but some people mightn't like it. The glossy finish does last quite awhile, and when it eventually wears off it leaves a gorgeous tint of colour to your lips. Towards the end of the glossy wear it does turn slightly drying so I would recommend having a lip balm to hand!

The main issue I do have with these gorgeous products is the price. €12.29..OUCH! UK prices are £7.99, I'm sorry L'oreal but £7.99 does not equal €12.29..sadface! But apart from that I absolutely love these products and they have definitely got rid of my curiosity about the YSL glossy stains for now!

Tag | Confessions of a Blogger

(Image-Weheartit, edited in picmonkey by me)

Hello Lovelies!

Recently I've been feeling a little uninspired as to what to write about. I have a few new products but as always I want to try them out for a while to build my opinion on them before I write a blog post telling you all about them. So as always if you have anything you'd like me to write about or any requests for posts you'd like to see please let me know! I first read Kayleigh's version of this tag ages ago and thought it would be an interesting post to do. I always love reading other people's versions of these tags, I always like to find out a little bit more about the person behind the blog!

Why did you start a blog?

I started my blog over a year ago now, I had been watching beauty videos on YouTube and had just started reading blogs myself. I always had a strong interested in make up and I really liked the idea of having a place where I could just write what I wanted to, about what I wanted to and have it just to myself. I really liked the idea of having my page to look how I wanted to also, to completely personalise it to my style. When I started my blog alot of my friends lived away at college etc so I didn't really have many people to talk to, so I also joined in the hopes of making some new friends!

When did you become serious about starting a blog?

I don't think I've ever grown to be "serious" about my blog, at the start it was a new hobby I wanted to try out, and obviously since then I have started to blog on a more regular basis but I never think of it as a serious - life or death thing. It's just something I do that I really enjoy and the fact that other people take the time to read and comment on my blog makes it all the more enjoyable! I've met so many lovely people through blogging that I probably would never have met otherwise!

What was your first post?

My first post wasn't the most inspirational, amazing or even all that long of a post. It consisted of three lines. Yes I was definitely a natural at it! The shame! I genuinely had not a clue what I was doing and I was comforted in the fact that pretty much nobody would read it so I didn't really mind what I wrote, I just wanted to get started really! You can read my first ever post by clicking here (don't judge!)

What has been your biggest challenge about blogging?

At the moment I'm finding it difficult to come up with original and different posts, I do realise that nobody wants to read 20 reviews all raving about the latest products but I am one for the hype! I love to try out the latest thing on the market to see if it really is all that great (99% of the time I love it) But I don't want people to by-pass my blog just because they've already seen and read loads about that product before. So I think finding products and topics that not many people have discussed before abit of a challange.

Where do you see your blog in one year?

I'd love to see myself still blogging in a years time, having discovered lots of new and exciting products and gained lots more friends!

What is the most rewarding thing to you about blogging?

I'm sure my answer will be similar to alot of peoples when I say that I find the most rewarding part about blogging is the people you meet. I have spoke to so many unbelievably nice people over the past year that I wouldn't have had the pleasure of meeting if I didn't start blogging. The beauty community is definitely one of nicest and most welcoming group of people you could meet!

What is the most discouraging thing that happens to you?

Honestly I think I have been really lucky so far to have had a really positive experience from blogging! Everyone has been so nice and always leaves lovely comments etc. It is abit discouraging to see people arguing over petty things in comments or on twitter but thankfully I have not been involved in anything like that so I can't really comment on it.

What's your lasting inspiration or motivation?

Definitely my biggest inspiration is watching YouTube videos and reading other girls blogs. I love seeing the newest releases on the market and hearing peoples opinions about them. Everyone I read is so amazingly talented and different it really helps to keep ideas flowing and they are always willing to help if you have questions or problems etc!

So there you have it, my version of the Confessions of a Beauty Blogger tag. I tag everyone that reads this to do it, I hope you enjoyed my version!

LUSH Mask of Magnaminty

Hello Lovelies!

I wanted to show you my new favourite face mask that I picked up from Lush last month. I had been lusting after this for so long and since I don't live anywhere near a Lush it was so hard to get my hands on! When I got to Lush in Dublin the other week I made a bee-line for this mask!

As I am one of those lucky people blessed with plenty of break outs from time to time I had read online that this was the face mask for me. Since I had never tried a Lush face mask before I had high hopes for this one! It smells absolutely gorgeous, as the name would suggest it smells like mint so it's a very refreshing face-mask! When I first used this I was surprised at how cooling it was on my skin. It also contains alot of "grainy bits" (technical term there!) so when you are rinsing it off you get abit of exfoliation going on as well!

I love the way this mask makes my skin feel! I have been using it on a Sunday night during my "pamper session" and my skin has been feeling so refreshed, soft and moisturised after using it! The Mask of Magnaminty has set the bar very high for other Lush products because I love it so much! When I run out of this/when it expires on me I'll definitely be repurchasing another one!

What is your favourite Lush product?

Shopping Weekend | OOTD

| Jacket - Wallis | Black Top - Primark | Jeans - Abercrombie & Fitch | Scarf - Primark | Boots - Primark |
Bag - Zara | Sunglasses - Firmoo.com |

Hello Lovelies!

Today I spend the day doing a small (ha) bit of shopping! So I thought I would do a quick OOTD, I got such positive and lovely comments from my last OOTN that I thought I would (try) and make this a regular thing! Please be kind, I dragged my brother out at 8.30am this morning to take these pictures apparently his best work doesn't happen at that hour of the morning! I'm also very sorry for the squinting! It was so bright out this morning!

I decided to go for a bold lip today, trying to get out of my comfort zone make-up wise is my new goal! I'm wearing the gorgeous Girl About Town that I won in the lovely Vicky's giveaway! Such a gorgeous shade and lipstick! Otherwise on the outfit I decided to go for a simple look. I'm wearing my new black leather jacket from Wallis that I got for my birthday! Paired with my Abercrombie jeans, a Primark Scarf and Primark boots and of course my Zara Office Bag, I was good to go!

I also wanted to feature my new sunglasses which I got from Firmoo.com I was contacted by this company a few weeks ago asking if I would like to review one of their products. As soon as I seen this pair I fell in love. I thought that they were very Chanel-sque! I couldn't believe how quick they got here, just in time for all the sunny (not) weather we're going to be having! I'm absolutely in love with these glasses and they will be getting so much wear over the Summer if we ever get one here in Ireland! If you are interested in these glasses you can get your first pair free as a new customer here

Expect lots of reviews coming up because there was some serious damage done in Boots...oops! All completely justified though I swear! Also I'm sure you've all heard the drama with GFC leaving us at this stage, if you like my link for blog loving is here and it would mean so much to me if you followed!

Cosmopolitan Blend Perfection Sponge

Hello Lovelies!

Thank you all so much for your birthday tweets and messages! It really made my day!

On a recent trip to Superdrug I picked up the Cosmopolitan Blend Perfection Sponge. I had been looking for a beauty sponge for awhile, since I seen the Beauty Blender online I really wanted one but wasn't prepared to spend over a tenner on one! So when I recently made a trip to my nearest (one hour away) Superdrug I had this straight in my basket! I've been using this to apply my make up for the past couple of weeks and I absolutely love it! I've mainly been using it to apply my Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation (which you all know I love) and it has really changed the way the foundation has looked on my skin!

To use the sponge you have to wet it and squeeze out the excess water, the sponge will have doubled in size because of the water. The idea is that you're supposed to "bounce" the foundation onto your skin with the sponge, I use light bouncing (how weird does that sound) and stippling motions to apply my foundation. It gives a gorgeous natural finish to my foundation and doesn't leave me looking cakey or that I'm wearing too much foundation! I find it so easy to build up coverage with the sponge compared to using brushes.

Since using the Sponge I've actually noticed that my make-up has stayed on longer though-out the day and I don't need to touch up as often! I would really recommend trying out this Sponge, especially if you're considering trying the Beauty Blender it might be a good (cheaper) alternative for you!

Products I've Used Up | Empties #4

Hello Lovelies!

I'm sure we can all agree that there is nothing more satisfying than finishing a product that you've had for ages. For me it just gives me the excuse to buy more things. I'm one of those people that get halfway through a product and then just get sick of it so for me to actually finish something is a big deal! Not going to lie I have been collecting these empty products for quite a while so the Empties post would be nice and varied!

Carmex
One of my everyday essentials, I need to have a tub of Carmex with me at all times! I have heard that it's not actually that good for your lips but I find it is the only lipbalm that gives me instant results. I like to use it for a good deep conditioning lip treatment after using my Lush lip scrub!

Bourjois Magic 1 Second Nail Polish Remover
When I first bought this I didn't really think I would "run out" of this, and technically I haven't, it still has product in it but it has gotten so icky I can't use it anymore without getting old nail polish or glitter all over my fingers. I have already repurchased this. I absolutely love it! It is so handy and makes taking off nail polish completely fuss free!

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish
I mush have one of these in every empties post I do! I honestly can not survive without this! If I ever not use it my skin instantly turns bad! It smells lovely, leaves my skin feeling lovely and is a lovely treatment for every evening! Again I have already repurchased this, I actually bought the 200ml version so it will last longer!

Liz Earle Instant Tonic Boost
Can you tell I'm abit of a Liz Earle fanatic  I'm a massive fan of toners and I use them on an everyday basis without fail! I do love to test out others but I always end up coming back to my beloved Liz Earle! I am in love with the smell of the Liz Earle toner and it feels so gorgeous and refreshing on the skin. It is definitely my favourite toner of all time! This (shocking) has already been repurchased!

Nivea Refreshing Toner
I told you I do love my toners! I picked this up awhile ago on a whim, in Tesco of all places! It was on offer and I thought I would give it a go! I did actually really like it, it felt nice on my skin and again felt lovely and refreshing! I'm not sure if I would repurchase this again, if it was on offer I probably would!

St Moriz- Dark
No surprise here, I do tend to go through bottles and bottles of this! It is my favourite tan and at €4.99 you can't really go wrong! I bought it in Dark by accident (I do like to be tanned but not THAT tanned) and not to be predictable I've already repurchased it, in my regular medium shade!

Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Scrub
I am slightly devastated that I have fun out of this. I got this with the "Best of All" set around Christmas time. I completely fell in love with the scent of this!  If you love the scent of Coca-Cola you will love this! This may have even (gasp) taken over from "Flake Away" as my favourite body scrub!

Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation!
One of my favourite ever foundations, I love the finish of this foundation, it leaves quite a natural finish to the skin and it lasts really well during the day too! I've recently discovered there is an even paler shade in this range called 010 Porcelain and I snapped it up instantly for my no-tan days!

Finally I can throw out these empty products! They have been hanging around my room for way to long! I am so excited today because it is my birthday tomorrow yay! I'm having a nice meal with my family & boyfriend tomorrow evening, having a girly night with my best friend on Thursday and going shopping on Saturday! I think I'm going to go abit crazy in Boots at the weekend so if you have any recommendations as to what I should buy please let me know!

Top 5 Favourite Nail Polishes | Spring Edition

Hello Lovelies!
You all know at this stage I am absolutely obsessed with nail polish and what with the change in the seasons it gives me a perfect excuse to do another favourite nail polish post!
So these are the nail polishes I have found myself reaching for the past few weeks with the change in the weather and just wanted to brighten up my nails!

Essie Mint Candy Apple
One of my all time favourite nail polish colours! Admittedly I would quite happily wear this all year round regardless of the weather but I just think it is the most perfect Spring colour! I can see why it is Essie's most popular shade! It just brightens up any look when I wear it!
Barry M's Pomegranate
This is another one of my recent purchases. I love the Barry M gel range as a whole but out of the colours I have this is my favourite! I love Barry M's Raspberry as you've heard me rave about many times but this seems to be so similar but just shinier which I'd never complain about! I do want to pick up a few more shades from this range because I find them fantastic quality and some of their newer colours are stunning!

Model's Own Utopia
Another neutral on my list (Can you tell I'm a fan of the neutrals!)  This is a very light lilac colour that looks amazing with abit of a tan! I think pastels are perfect for Spring (Pastels for Spring... ground breaking Danielle!) Perfect again for layering up with glitters or nail transfers and even on it's own it looks gorgeous!

Butter London Disco Biscuit
This is a nail polish I finally got my hands on before Christmas and reviewed here.  I love it, it's a blue under toned pink. It does have an unusual texture which I've never had in any other nail polish and to be honest I'm not 100% sold on but for the colour I will happily put up with it! I am looking for something similar though for when I run out of this! If you know of a dupe please let me know!

Essie Fiji
The most recent love of my nail polish life! I bought it a few weeks ago and it has been a permanent fixture on my nails ever since! Such a pretty baby pink colour, I love using it as a base colour under glitter and most recently I have been using Barry M's Ruby Glitter on top, I'm currently on the look out for the L'oreal Confetti Topcoat because I think that will look amazing with this!

So there are my top 5 picks of nail polishes for the Spring! Let me know what yours are! I'm always open to a good nail polish recommendation!..Yes I have a problem!

What's In My Handbag | Spring Edit

Hello Lovelies!

I recently asked on Twitter would anyone be interested in another What's in my Handbag post, and the overwhelming response was yes! I love nothing more than a good What's in my Handbag post and since getting my new handbag I figured it was the perfect excuse to do another one!

Firstly my new bag is the popular Zara one that everybody seems to have and love at the moment, and I can say I am in love with it just as much as everyone else! It doesn't hurt that people mistake it for a Prada or Chanel all the time!

First up is my purse, I featured this in my December Favourites post. I bought it in A|Wear and I adore it! It fits my cards and cash in perfectly and it's not one of those purses that opens in your bag and your money goes everywhere! Next is my Diary, I got this for Christmas and I can honestly say I'd be lost without it! I write everything in it and I remember things so much easier thanks to it!

I always have a hand cream with me and this is my new favourite! It's by Baylis & Harding in Wild Rose & Raspberry Leaf. I also got this for Christmas from my best friend Zara and I've been obsessed with it ever since! Following up on the Rose obsession is my Korres Lip Butter in Wild Rose. I have been so obsessed with all things Rose scented and this such an absolutely gorgeous nourishing lip butter. I'm addicted to it!

If you know me you'll know I'm never one to have just one lip product in my bag and today is no different. I've been reaching for the Rimmel Apocolips in Celestial as my everyday lip colour! I also carry around my everyday scent which lately has been Terry Muglier's Alien. I am utterly obsessed with this scent and since I've gotten it in December I have nearly used half the bottle!

Finally I always have my beloved Kindle with me! I have been loving this lately, I find since getting it I have read so much more. It's so convenient! I'm currently reading Beneath the Glitter by Blair & Elle Fowler and I'm loving it!

So that is all that's in my hand bag at the moment! If you've done one of these posts please link it in the comments because I'm so nosey I love reading them!
