Bioderma Review

Hello Lovelies!

If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram you will have seen my most recent purchase. After much delebration I decided to bite the bullet and dabble in the micellaire water world.

I have been thinking about buying this for months now but I kept putting it off because of the price and of how hard it was to get in Ireland/UK. I ended up going on eBay and paying €25 (ouch!) for the 500ml bottle.

Since receving it I have used it at least once a day. I normally would use it in the evenings, soaked on a cotton pad and cleaning off my eye make up. I find its amazing for removing waterproof eye make-up (which I've had to start using but more on that later!) so I don't find myself having to use as much of my Liz Earle which I love but like to save! I also like to use it before I apply my make up in the mornings, just again on a cotton pad and sweeping all over my face!

I love this for three reasons..One it is very gentle. Lately I've been breaking out alot more than I normally would and this cleanser doesn't irriate my skin or make me break out at all which is always a plus! Two it does an amazing job at removing my eye make up which always seems to be the part of my make up that needs a little bit more work. It removes my waterproof mascara and eyeliner too! And finally three it's so handy! I know we all have those days where we get home and crawl into bed and then think Uhhh I forgot to take my make up off. Like I said just pour abit on a cotton pad and clean my face.

Would I repurchase this? As amazing as I think it is I don't think I'd be able to pay another €25 for it...If I was going to France or knew somebody that was I'd definitely repurchase but I wouldn't go out of my way to get it again. It is an amazing idea and I will be trying out different brands for their micellaire waters because I think it is an amazing addition to my skin care routine!

  2. I bought this on holiday and I do like it but it's not worth the 25 euros that you paid. I got a twin pack for 19 euros and I felt ripped off cos half an hour later I saw a twin pack in another pharmacie for 14 euros, I was so mad haha! Like you I wouldn't go out of my way to repurchase, but if I was to go to a country where they sell it I'd prob pick up a bottle x

  5. EEp! €25! We really need some of these lovely French brands to be more readily available in RoI/UK. I loved Bioderma, think you'll be well pleased you splashed out on it!
