LOTD || Blog Post

Today Louise's LOTD is to share a blog post that has inspired you, and I'm sure plenty of other bloggers will be sharing this one but it is Zoe's post about panic attacks which you can read here

I think it was really well written and would help somebody who doesn't suffer from panic attacks to understand them abit better. It is a very delicate subject to write about and she did it so well and just reading through the comments on the post shows how many people she has helped by writing it.

Prime Time

Hello Lovelies!

I thought I would talk to you today about the primer that I have been recently using which as I'm sure you can see is the Rimmel Fix & Perfect Pro Primer.
I have tried quite alot of primers including the No.7 primer which I wasn't overly impressed with and the Smashbox primer which is A-M-A-zing but oh so expensive.
So I picked this one up in Tesco of all places to give it a try!

I actually really do like this primer,. I think at the time I purchased it, I got it on offer for €4.99 or something along those lines so I'm afraid I don't know the current price. But you do get a decent amount of product for the price.
The thing I love about this primer is that it doesn't give your face that horrible silicone-y feel to it that quite a few other primers do. I hate that feeling and as I apply my primer with my hands it leaves my hands feeling icky too! But this is just like applying a slightly matt moisturiser..it doesn't leave my face feeling horribly dry or itchy either. In regards to helping my make up last through out the day I defiantly noticed a difference with a little touch-up here & there my make up was pretty much the same as when I done it that morning! Only downfall I can find with this product is that it smells not so great but thankfully it doesn't linger on the skin after you apply it so I can get over that!

If you have any face/eye primer recommendations please leave them below as I'd love to try something new!

L'Oreal Elvive Nutri Gloss Crystal Sparkling Shampoo

Hello Lovelies!

This post is a little strange because I'm not really a big hair care person...but I simply couldn't resist..and once you see what I'm talking about you'll know why!...

LOOOOK how pretty! I don't know if you'll be able to see from the picture but there is tiny little parts of glitter in the actual shampoo!

So I suppose that covers the reason why I bought the shampoo...nope not because of any rave reviews I heard or not because I liked what it said it could do for my hair...I bought it because it looked so frickin' pretty! I really think that this is the 'prettiest' shampoo I've ever owned...if pretty is a way of describing a shampoo?

The main attraction of this shampoo is obviously the glitter in it which is actually described by L'oreal to be Micro pearls & crystals..and they are meant to bring more shine to your hair. Now personally I didn't notice any difference to the shininess of my hair but after I had used this shampoo my hair felt so soft and healthy I loved it! It felt like I had just got my hair done in a salon. It made the ends of my hair (which are slightly frazzled) feel & look alot healthier too!

Another good think about this shampoo is that it smells DEVINE! I normally don't like the smell of normal shampoos but I don't complain because thankfully the smells don't normally linger but this one is just gorgeous and I could happily put up with the smell if it did last ages!

All in all I really love this product...and even if I didn't it would still look lovely in my bathroom..in all its pink & sparkly-ness!

June Favourites

Hello Lovelies!

I can NOT believe that we're in July already! It doesn't seem like that long since Christmas...does it?

Anyway without further ado..here are my June Favourites!..Most of these items are actually things I got in Belfast last month..

First item is a bit of a random one but it is Scholls Instant Pain Relief plasters for blisters. Now recently I was wearing a pair of shoes that can only be described as feet eaters..I have never had so many cuts and blisters in my life and was limping everywhere for ages until mum gave me these beauties! I don't know what it is but they get rid of all pain blisters cause and they're not like normal plasters in that they don't peel off and they are super super thin!

Next is my first ever Essie purchase..Lapis of Luxury..I haven't got much to say about this other than I absolutely love it and have repainted my nails with it over 4 times...which is saying something for me!

Then I have the new love of my (brush) life...I finally got my hands on the Real Techniques Core Collection Brush set and this is the Real Techniques Buffing Brush which is without a doubt my favourite brush of the whole set. I use this for my liquid foundation and it just leaves such a flawless, airbrushed look to the skin.

My new River Island rose gold watch is the next thing that I have been loving this month. I have worn it everyday since I got it..and I got it with a gift-voucher that I got for my birthday...everyone loves a freebie right?

And finally is my Illamasqua cream blusher in Sob...such a pretty dolly pink and I have recently become obsessed with cream blushers because I'm getting more into the 'dewy' look on my face for the Summer as opposed to a completely matt look.

So that is all my favourites for the month of June. If you have any suggestions for any blog posts or reviews that you would like to see please comment below and I will try my bestest to get it done for you!
